The Junior section

. Our aims are to:

• Introduce young boys and girls to the game of cricket

• Provide meaningful coaching to those who wish to play in teams

• Promote the better players to regional and county levels

• Instil the values of good conduct on and off the field

• Generally encourage all to participate at whatever level

•  We are members of the East Devon Youth League and run four teams at four age groups

• We have regular practice nights on each Friday evening from Mid April until August starting at 6.30. We also have a section for beginners and these start as young as 8.

• We are acutely aware of child protection and have a Welfare officer and all our coaches and helpers are subject to a CRB check. We follow the guidelines and legislation produced in the ECB's document Safe Hands. These can all be viewed by clicking on the links.

• We have regular barbeques to which all family members are welcome

• We have a presentation evening in September

• We have provided many players for the East Devon and County sides.
