JUNIORS 2009

JUNIOR REGISTRATION

This will take place on Friday 17th April from 18.30 at the Clubhouse. Practice sessions will take place from then until August starting at 18.30. For further details please contact

      The Junior section of the club is thriving. Our aims are to:

• Introduce young boys and girls to the game of cricket

• Provide meaningful coaching to those who wish to play in teams

• Promote the better players to regional and county levels

• Instil the values of good conduct on and off the field

• Generally encourage all to participate at whatever level

•  We are members of the East Devon Youth League and run four teams at U10, U11, U13 & U15.

• We have regular practice nights on each Friday evening from Mid April until July starting at 6.30. We also have a section for beginners and these start as young as 7.

• We are acutely aware of child protection and have a Welfare officer and all our coaches and helpers are subject to a CRB check. We follow the guidelines and legislation produced in the ECB's document Safe Hands. These can all be viewed by clicking on the links.

• We have regular barbeques to which all family members are welcome

• We have a presentation evening in September

• We have provided many players for the East Devon and County sides.

FRIDAY EVENINGS Dates for the Mini Cricket sessions with Leigh Menheneott will be on the following Fridays.
